Srishti Gupta Narasimhan

Challenging the belief that some lives matter less, Srishti Gupta Narasimhan has dedicated her career to advancing global health equity and advocating for inclusive educational opportunity.

Since graduating Harvard with degrees in medicine, biology, and policy, she has focused on enhancing access to health care and education around the world.

Narasimhan served for nearly two decades at McKinsey. A leader in the global health practice, she worked to harness the power of public-private collaboration to tackle challenges including child mortality, vaccine access, and family planning. Narasimhan later championed diversity and inclusion efforts, directed global talent programs, and led alumni engagement and strategy.

Today, she serves on the boards of Idorsia Pharmaceuticals, a leading biotechnology company; the Norrsken Foundation, the largest ecosystem connecting social entrepreneurs across Europe and Africa; and the BackPack Foundation, which advances higher education for women in science and leadership. She also supports STEAM experiences and scholarships for underserved students and mentors founders in health and education.

A longtime alumni interviewer for Harvard College, Narasimhan is a member of Harvard’s Global Advisory Council and recently co-chaired her 25th reunion committee.

“Harvard has a responsibility to elevate standards, support critical research, and educate rising generations. Throughout my career, I have enabled people and institutions to confront pressing challenges like health equity and inclusion. I would be honored and humbled to help Harvard, an institution which has indescribably changed my life, navigate the headwinds and possibilities it faces in preparing graduates to undertake the greatest issues of our time.”
