Passionate about higher education, Theresa Cho is an academic leader and researcher with extensive experience in business and academia.  

Cho is vice president of international affairs at Seoul National University and professor of strategic management at its Graduate School of Business. With previous experience as deputy vice president and associate dean of student affairs, Cho is an expert in leading university communities.   

An acclaimed scholar in strategy and organizational theory, Cho held numerous positions in the academic community that have showcased her wide-ranging contributions to the field, including a tenured associate professorship at Rutgers Business School, where she received several awards including a GE Fellowship. She also contributes to the tech industry as an outside director for Korea Telecom and Samsung SDS.  

A dedicated Harvard volunteer, Cho is an alumni interviewer, former director of Asia-Pacific Clubs for the Harvard Alumni Association, and president of Harvard College Alumni of Korea. She is also a member of Harvard Alumni for Global Women’s Empowerment and Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs.   

During her time at Harvard, Cho co-founded Yisei magazine and participated in several student organizations, including Phillips Brooks House, the Radcliffe Choral Society, and the Harvard-Radcliffe Asian American Association. She also plays an active role in the Harvard College parent community.
